How might we build communities of interfaith couples?

We worked with Impact Squared develop a design thinking strategy for one of their clients.

Honeymoon Israel brings together interfaith couples, usually one Jewish, one not, and takes them on a trip to Israel to learn more about the Jewish religion. The Founders were interested in how they might build a thriving community for couples on their return.

The project involved co-designing a kick-off workshop, which took the client and Board Members through the design thinking process. We then worked together with Impact Squared team to design an ethnography process that included interviews and observation along with a process for synthesizing and making sense of results. We interviewed couples and designed a final prototyping workshop to come up with a set of interventions that could be tested in three locations- San Francisco, Denver and Washington DC.
