Teaching systems change at the Lab OPM Summer Design School in Washington

On July 27th Rachel Sinha was invited to host a workshop at the US Federal Government, LAB OPM Summer Design School.

The session, hosted in partnership with Eulani Labay, covered an introduction to systems change and an opportunity for teams of civil servants from across government to map out the systems they work within.

In the afternoon, we shared some systems theory from Donella Meadows and Geels' Transition Theory and participants were offered the chance to use these frameworks to design a strategy for systems change.

There were 48 participants, ranging from representatives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Navy, the National Archives, Health and Human Services, the Dept of Defense and the Dept of Homeland Security.

"Thank you both for such a great session last week!"
